AeroSky 550 RC 6 Channel Hexacopter Almost Ready to Fly (Green)James Derek EikelandMay 6, 2013I have tried this hexacopter for a week now and is very pleased with the build quality, good motors, esc's, frame(actually from the same factory that build DJI frames, every thing is the same)and a lot of power. I have to agree with another customer that says the motherboard isn't the best, the instructions in the videos are yust in chinese and the quality of the video is really bad but i got trough it somehow. Maybe better instructions and more insight on how to set up the controller would make it fly better, i don't know, but i have a crappy patient so i bought a DJI NAZA M controller and now we are talking, it flyes like a dream, so all in all i would recommand this hexa but if you'r looking for a desent controller it's worthwhile upgrading to Naza or something simular, especially if your thinking of aerial video/foto/fpv
AeroSky 550 RC 6 Channel Hexacopter Almost Ready to Fly (Green)Christopher DrewsApril 4, 2013I think this is an awesome machine. That being said, I am a newbie to Multirotors, newbie to Helis, and an old RC fixed winger. I bought this to learn about Multirotors and have been using a Airtronics RDS8000. After a week of tweeking and geeking, I have put this ship through the test. Buy extra blades because I am sure that is all you will ever break. The thing is bomber! However, AeroSky and xheli can @#%* it! Do NOT purchase the landing gear or gimble advertised on this page. Apparently these items are not compatible with the 550. Oh, and if you are a mac user, I simply cannot get this unit to connect to my macbook.
