Walkera Master CP 6 Channel RC Helicopter Ready to Bind HelicopterKelby ScottJanuary 8, 2014I am relatively new at helicopters but have flown planes as a kid. Started with two 911 then genius then this master. The servos on this helicopter are HORRIBLE. Everything else seems okay. Its cheap to fix but you should not use the walkera metal geared (they were not the greatest) find another brand and use those servos. Assume you will need to replace ALL three servos ($50). After replacement you should have a decent helicopter that will be cheap to fix in the future.
Walkera Master CP 6 Channel RC Helicopter Ready to Bind HelicopterDavid Meyer - Tampa FLAugust 7, 2013I can only say that this Heli is awesome. It's very well built and easy to fly. I have to give it a five star full thumbs up. Walkera has made a fine product.
Walkera Master CP 6 Channel RC Helicopter Ready to Bind HelicopterShaneMay 20, 2013I still consider myself to be a novice pilot. The Master CP is an excellent transition helicopter for anyone with 4 channel experience. I have had little trouble being able to fly this helicopter straight out of the box. I have found that the servos do need replacing and I have had to replace the swash 3 times though. Just make sure to stock up on extras and this helicopter will serve you well.

Walkera Master CP 6 Channel RC Helicopter Ready to Bind HelicopterDwainDecember 28, 2012I have had this Heli for a couple weeks now and I have good things to say about it. I am using a Devo 7 transmitter with the recommended settings by Walkera that are provided with the Heli. I am a beginner and this is my 3rd Heli, and first 2xx size. I also own a V911 4ch that I learned on for about a month, and then purchased a Genius CP 6ch to get the hang of CP followed by the Master CP. The Master CP is amazingly stable and very easy to fly right out of the box. Other than setting up my transmitter, and changing the battery connector to an XT60 the Heli is right out of the box. I am using Zippy 25C 1000 MAH batteries that I ordered from another website. With the Zippy batteries I get about 7-8 minutes out of it before I start noticing slower performance. I am not advanced enough to do 3D yet so I can not provide a review for that. So far the only thing I have found to be a negative is the throttle hold/cut. Unfortunately when the throttle hold/cut is activated there seems to be a 1-2 second delay before the Heli responds. (Hopefully a firmware update will be released resolving the issue since Walkera does release updated firmware.) The only recommendation I have regarding this Heli is to upgrade to the Metal Gear Servos since many people are having issues with them stripping after a single crash, and they seem to be the only real weak point of the whole Heli. I purchased the RTB (Ready to Bind) version and did not receive a battery with my Heli even though it is supposed to be included. I am sure this is Xheli's mistake and not Walkera. I have contacted Xheli and they are sending me a battery once they come in. To me, its not a big deal because I ordered batteries from another site at the same time so I would have batteries for it. A quick Summary: Pros 1. Easy to fly 2. Settings for other Devo transmitters included 3. Beginner friendly Cons 1. Servos strip easily 2. Throttle hold/cut has a 1-2 second delay before responding

Walkera Master CP 6 Channel RC Helicopter Ready to Bind HelicopterMatthewDecember 17, 2012It arrived in the same slow shiiping that I have become used to with Xheli. I am still setting up my Devo 7 for use with it and will be happy when the battery arrives (They did not include the battery or charger)
